Summary of 2017
This year, I have seen 144 species of bird. I have seen 10 new species, including long-tailed duck, snow bunting, whooper swan, whinchat, whimbrel, sanderling, great skua, woodcock, puffin and razorbill. I have seen 3 species that I’d never seen in Britain before, including arctic tern, crossbill and red-breasted merganser.
