Greenfinch
The greenfinch is a brightly coloured member of the passerine family native to Europe.
The greenfinch has a stocky, pink bill for breaking into seeds.
Like most finches, they feed their young on insects.
As their name suggests, they are mostly yellowy-green in colour, with hints of vivid yellow on its wing and tail.
The other finches in Britain related to the greenfinches are hawfinches, bullfinches and goldfinches.
